Content submitted for publication may become publicly viewable through Van's TV. Participating organizations are responsible for ensuring that their content is appropriate for public distribution and that they have obtained necessary permissions from any individuals appearing in it.

Van's TV may temporarily download, process, and cache authorized media files to provide reliable streaming.

Removing content from a connected storage folder may not immediately remove all temporary or backup copies.

5. Third-Party Services

Van's TV uses third-party services to operate its platform, including:

Roku: Provides the device operating system and application distribution platform.

Dropbox: Supports the storage and synchronization of media supplied by authorized channel administrators.

DigitalOcean: Provides the cloud infrastructure used to host the application and deliver content.

Van's TV uses cloud infrastructure and third-party storage services. Our current application server is hosted in Canada, and information may be processed or stored in the United States, Canada, or other locations where our service providers operate.

Technical records are retained as reasonably necessary for service operation, security, troubleshooting, or legal compliance.

Temporary media caches are generally removed when no longer needed, although copies may remain temporarily in system backups.

Device-level preferences may remain stored until the application data is cleared, the application is removed, or the device otherwise deletes those settings.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information and prevent unauthorized access, including encrypted connections, restricted server access, and controlled access to media-management systems.

However, no internet-based service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Van's TV is not specifically directed toward children under 13.

We do not knowingly request or collect personal information directly from children through viewer registration or account features.

If you believe that personal information belonging to a child has been collected improperly or published without appropriate authorization, please contact us so we can review the situation.
